Today, EZY's breadth of products and strength in distribution has enabled them to be a part of every second computer in Sri Lanka. A subsidiary of EZY Holdings, EZY Technologies are the sole distributors of Gigabyte laptops in Sri Lanka.

GIGABYTE Technology Co. Ltd., headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, is known as a leading brand in the IT industry with branch offices located in 24 countries around the world. GIGABYTE’s product portfolio includes notebooks and desktop PCs, datacenter servers, networking products, mobile handsets, and home entertainment devices to serve each facet of the digital life in the home as well as office. Everyday GIGABYTE offers consumers, confidence with innovative technology, exceptional quality, and unmatched customer service.

“New devices make portability and gaming an enriching experience”, said CEO, EZY Technologies, Shafraz Hamzadeen, speaking at the launch of the U2442N Ultra Pro Book. This is a sleek and stunning 14 Ultrabook that provides fantastic performance with a third Generation Intel Core Processor. At the forefront of GIGABYTE’s commitment to uphold notebook innovation, this model has a striking design that exudes remarkable style, combined with powerful features that herald a new era in mobile computing. It has a slim form factor, is only 18.5-21.0mm thick and weighs just 1.59kg, making it a fantastic choice for portability”, said Hamzadeen.

Present at the press conference were Joseph Praveen - Regional Sales Manager, GIGABYTE South Asia along with Gordon Kao - Global Sales Director for GIGABYTE.

“Most ultrabooks are light, thin and have long battery life, thereby losing out on performance. At GIGABYTE, we have something different to offer. We use a standard voltage processor in our ultrabooks and NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M discrete graphics.

The U2442N might look and feel similar to other ultrabooks but in terms of performance, our ultrabook offers much more,” said Joseph Praveen.

In the case of the P2542G which is a sleek premium gaming notebook that packs incredible power to give consumers unmatched options for mobile gaming; “this 15.6Ó gaming and multimedia notebook features a stunning design with dual air vents that is reminiscent of a premium sports car”, enthused Hamzadeen.

Incorporated in 2004, EZY Infotech has grown to become the country’s only complete distribution organisation focusing on providing seamless solutions to brand owners (such as GIGABYTE) in their stride to gain market share. Their intensive distribution infrastructure which works on a unique pipeline distribution model, provides a clear advantage to brand owners by not only making their products available across the country within 24 hours in every retailers counter, but also ensuring that knowledge and channel development is executed in parallel. With over 150 dedicated people reaching nine provinces and 22 districts, EZY’s infrastructure and reach is unique to a distributor in any industry.

EZY’s innovative supply chain approach has allowed brands to gain a dramatic increase in their desired market share, whilst simultaneously lowering distribution costs.

This has without doubt enabled brands to pass on true value to consumers, thereby offering value for money.

“Our partners, who are our dealers across the country will undoubtedly be the efficient conduit in enabling this stride to gain market leadership in the gamer segment. In order to provide them the necessary support to do their business better, we have what is known as a 123 Express service to provide our partners an efficient solution. This focuses on one hour warranty, two hour technical training and three hour delivery of goods”, said Hamzadeen.
