'The Fashion Circle.com', world's first fashion portal launched
WELOVEIT Studio, a strategic design studio in Sri Lanka launched Sri
Lanka's first-ever online designer portal ? The Fashion Circle at "The
Fashion Circle Runaway Show" held recently at Mount Lavinia Hotel.

The portal, a world's first concept, brings together all fashion
professionals - fashion designers, hair and makeup artists, models,
Retail Brands, choreographers and fashion photographers globally in to
one platform .
The Fashion Circle was launched by the Chief Guest for the event
Fouzul Hameed Managing Director of HAMEEDIA, Mohamed Ziham - CEO of The
Fashion Circle and WELOVEIT Studio, Dilakshan Dariju Chief Operating
Officer and Ashan Kumar, Managing Partner.
The Fashion Cricle Runway Show featured collections from Prabath
Samarasooriya, Nordica, Krishanthi Fernandopulle - Rainbow, Ramona
Oshini, Spanish Holiday, Iesha Hettigama. Hot Air balloon, Lonali
Rodrigo, Soul Funk and Ayodhya Ratnayake, Vintage Fusion.
Many Sri Lankan designers get inspired from western designers, and
The Fashion Circle provides a platform for Sri Lankan designs, talent
and aspirations to inspire the rest of the world through our identity,
positioning Sri Lankan Fashion niche. Sri Lanka has many talented
individuals that are just waiting to be discovered and absorbed into the
fashion industry.

Mohamed Ziham, CEO of WeLoveIT Studio and The Fashion Circle said,
"The Sri Lankan Fashion industry gateway to a global platform just
opened through the introduction of The Fashion Circle and the entry to
Fashion 3.0.
The portal will be introduced to other geographies within the next
couple of months to further enhance our offering as a true sustainable
Fashion portal. I would also like to thank my team, volunteers, all our
partners and sponsors who helped us to organize the Fashion Circle
Runway Show. This is an innovation from Sri Lanka to the World of
Fashion".
The site will also give an opportunity for retail brands to feature
and communicate its products and services providing a total solution for
one's fashion needs.
It will, in the months to come, integrate the facility for fashion
designers to sell their collections online. The Fashion Circle features
sub sections that features different facets in the realm of fashion.
'Top Steels' features the latest fashion trends, 'Ask a Designer'
focuses Q & A session with a featured designer per month and 'Designer
Labels' is a section that is dedicated for fashion designers to showcase
their creations. |
