Book Fair at BMICH

The annual Colombo International Book Fair will be held from September 18 to 26 at the BMICH, Colombo.

The fair this year is dedicated to children. Children from all races will open the fair.

The entire income from the Rs 10 entrance fee is used for projects such as the Daru Diriya Scholarship Fund and the School Library Development Fund.

The fair will consist of 410 stalls including 40 foreign participants.

Lecture by Rebecca Wexler

The United States -Sri Lanka Fullbright Commission will present a lecture by Rebecca Wexler on 'Documentary film making as legal advocacy, evidence and argument: the Yale visual law project' on September 24 from 6pm to 7.30pm at the United States - Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission Auditorium, 55, Abdul Caffoor Mawatha, Colombo 3.

Lecture

A lecture on Value of Communication Today in Sri Lanka organized by the American Centre will be delivered by media personality Danu Innasithamby at the American Centre Auditorium on September 20.

Time change in Derana Aruna

Derana Aruna, the morning show hosted by Chathura Alwis, will be telecast at 6.30am from September 18.
