University entrants allowed to reapply for new courses

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has allowed university entrants to change the order of preferences marked by them for various courses of study, and apply for new courses.

The candidates, who had already submitted applications for university admission based on their AL Examination result of 2011, can now reapply for new courses for the academic year 2011/2012.

Also, the UGC will issue applications for the students to be eligible for undergraduate courses under new Z-score, but who have not yet applied for university admission based on the result of the AL Examination 2011.

However, the candidates who have already applied for university admission for academic year 2011/2012 based on the last year AL result should not send another application.

The UGC further said that of the candidates those who wish to apply for new courses of study have to send their applications before September 28 to the UGC.
