Police seek public information

The Police Public Relations Unit requests the public to contact the CID for information on corruption and malpractices or any other complaints regarding the recently held Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. The public can contact the CID on 011 232 20141-43 or fax- 011 232 6937.

Meanwhile the CID will obtain on order from court today to summon Sri Lanka Teacher Services Association Secretary Mahinda Jayasinghe for a statement. The Police reported that the CID is in need of Jayasinghe to give them a statement regarding his comments which appeared in various media on corruptions and malpractices regarding the Year Five examiniation.
