'ANCL going from strength to strength'

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) will go from
strength to strength under the leadership of the Chairman Bandula
Pathmakumara, said ANCL Editorial Director Seelarathna Senarath.
The monthly environmental magazine ‘Mihithuru’ published by
Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd was launched at a
ceremony at Lake House held under the patronage of Mass
Media and Information Ministry Secretary Charitha Herath.

Addressing the launching ceremony of Mihithuru monthly magazine, the
Editorial Director said that the ANCL is doing a great service for the
betterment of the country. He said ANCL is on a successful journey with
about 20 new publications in addition to the main newspapers.
The new publications have been launched with the help of ministries,
local government institutes and other government institutes.
"We have already launched publications,such as, Oru Wella, Janasevana,
Pibidena Wellassa, Samupa Deepani, Ran Aswanu, etc. These publications
are given free of charge with the Dinamina newspaper to provide variety
to our readers. 'These papers have a huge demand among the readers.
