Sanjika leads St Servatius to thrilling win

Sanjika Ridma led the St Servatius college under 17 team to a thrilling 2 wicket win in their division one second round match against Dharmasoka college Ambalangoda last Sunday. The match reduced to thirty five overs per side was played at the Jayasyriya grounds in Matara. Batting first Dharmasoka were bowled out for a respectable 223 runs in 32 overs.

Chanuka Dilshan 3/19, Lochana Mohotti 2/32, Sanjika Ridma 2/40 and Aneesha Dilanjana 2/54 shared the wickets. D H A Thilakshana scored 80 runs in 64 balls with five boundaries and four sixes.

St Servatius scored the required runs in 34.5 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Skipper Sanjika Ridma scored 91 with fifteen boundaries. Lochana Mohotti and Dilshan Madhusanka chiped in with 39 each. W R T Mendis captured 3/32.
