Hunt on for children's home's inmates

Rangala Police commenced a search operation to locate four girls who escaped from the Jeewana Kanda Children's Detention Home in Rangala on Saturday.

M G Piumika Ramanjali , W M L Udanyangani Senaviratne, 15, M G Thushari Shayamali,13, and E Dineshika Hansamali, 18, fled the detention home without the warden's permission.

They were in detention on a court order under the supervision of probation officers at the Children's Home. They are residents of Nawalapitiya, Degaldoruwa and Mahawela, the Police said.
