Ini-Avan to be screened at Toronto Film Fest

Popular film-maker Asoka Handagama's latest movie Ini-Avan (Him hereafter) will be screened at the Contemporary World Cinema section in the 37th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Ini-Avan is one of the five films selected for in-depth discussions with the audience.

The event will be conducted by the University of Toronto. A scholar from the university's Munk School of Global Affairs will hold an expanded conversation about the film.

TIFF is the most recognised and largest film festival in North America and is scheduled to be held at Toronto, Ontario, Canada from September 6 to 16.

Ini- Avan premiered at Cannes 2012 under the ACID Programme.
