'NFF election offices under attack'

The National Freedom Front (NFF) said that three of their election offices in the Trincomalee district came under mob attacks yesterday.

According to a party spokesman, their offices at Kanthale Mahaveediya, Siyabangalawa Junction and Bhathiyagama have come under attack by persons believed to be supporters of rival parties.

NFF Trincomalee district team leader and former parliamentarian Jayantha Weerasekara has lodged a complaint over the attacks at Kanthale Police.

Kanthale Police are investigating.
