Three in custody

Three persons hunting for treasure in an archaeologically significant area in Hambantota were arrested by Hambantota STF on Monday. The STF also seized a three wheeler, water pump and other implements used in the illegal operation.

They were taken into custody on Monday night in Dimuthugama, Andarawewa .The suspects were produced in the Hambantota magistrates court yesterday.
