Interpol link up to trace wanted persons

The Sri Lanka Unit of the International Police ( Interpol ) linked up with the Interpol Headquarters in Paris which enable them to trace lost and misplaced passports while tracing criminals and other offenders who travel in and out of the island, police sources said yesterday.

Sri Lanka’s Interpol Unit became the first Police Interpol Unit in South Asia to connect with the lost and misplaced passport data base of the Interpol Headquarters.
