Orient Finance PLC moves to new building

Deputy Chairman, Janashakthi Insurance PLC.

Orient Finance PLC moved its support services into a new building
recently at Dr. N.M. Perera Mawatha, Colombo 8.
This move was initiated with a view to create a more customer
oriented ambience at its Head office, best known to customers, which
will remain to be the public interface of Orient Finance PLC. The new
office complex was inaugurated by the Chairman of Orient Finance PLC,
Dr. Dayanath Jayasuriya P.C. and Chandra Schafter, Deputy Chairman,
Janashakthi Insurance PLC.
Traditional rites were carried out with the lighting of the oil lamp,
symbolizing prosperity. In its transition from being a specialized
leasing company to a Licensed Finance Company, Orient Finance PLC will
broaden their product offering to customers with the inclusion of fixed
and savings deposits, which is expected to complement its core business
of Leasing, hire purchase and debt factoring. |
