Army in smashing 43 - 22 win over CH and FC

Sri Lanka Army SC scored a smashing win over CH and FC by 43 points (five goals, a try and a penalty) to 22 points (two goals, a try and a penalty) in their second round match of the Dialog league ‘A’ division league tournament played at Diyagama yesterday.

Army’s foreign player Epi Kokonosiga played a major role in the match scoring three tries. Nushal Meepage, Maurice Abeyratne and Steve Kunapuwa were the others to score tries.

Upali Wickramasinghe added the extra points by converting four tries and putting over a penalty.Steve Kunapuwa also made a conversion. Rishitha Peiris (two) and Duminda Abeyratne (one) reduced the deficit for CH and FC. Nalin Kumara converted two tries while he made no mistake with the penalty.
