Thurstan trounce De Mazenod by six wickets

Thurstan College, Colombo trounced De Mazenod College, Kandana by six wickets in their inter schools under 15 division two cricket match concluded at Thurstan College recently.

De Mazenod College hammered 107 runs in 26.4 overs with the help of Malinda Navod ( 30 n.o.). Pamudika Kumararatne was the most impressive among the bowlers with four wickets for six.

Thurstan College replied the Mazenodians with a well compiled 108 runs for four wickets in 12 overs Chamod Palliyaguruge scored 45 runs(not out) and Viran Jayatillake scoted 30 runs.

Malinda Navod( two for 21) and Danuka Fernando (two for 26 ) were the most impressive among the Thurstan bowlers
