SLAF, Tamil Union, Moors, Colts clash in semis

The semi-finals of the SLC Under-23 Cricket tournament will begin
today. In the two three-day encounters, Sri Lanka Air Force will take on
Tamil Union at Colts grounds and Moors will play against Colts at NCC
grounds. Each team played six matches before reaching today’s
semi-finals.
Sri Lanka Air Force is on to of the points table with four outright
wins.
Airmen heavily depend on four players, Angelo Emmanuel, T Nadeera and
Promising young spinners Buddhika Sandaruwan and Shohan Rangika.
Left-hander Kithruwan Vithanage leads Tamil Union while Moors, led by
promising batsman Ashan Priyanjan, had four outright wins.
Shehan Kamaleen is the leading run-getter so far in the tournament,
having scored 588 runs including three centuries and a half century. |
