Bail bond withdrawn

High Court judge Kumudini Wickremasinghe yesterday ordered the bail bond of Rs.50,000 of an accused to be withdrawn when he failed to be present in court yesterday.

The accused is Wijitha Kumara.

In this case, a student was killed , in addition several students of the Sri Jayawardanapura University injured in a clash between members of an unlawful assembly.

Those who received injuries are are Indika Attanayake, Eranga Mahes L. Hitibandara Lasantha Jayawardana, Thusitha Wickremasekera, Nevile Fernando and Indika Lakmal.
