Lanka Alzheimers' Foundation free memory screening day

Worried about your memory? Feeling more forgetful and confused than usual? Noticing changes in your concentration?

The Lanka Alzheimers' Foundation is inviting all to attend its annual Memory Screening Day on Sunday, August 5 between 9 am to 1 pm at the Foundation's Service Centre at 110, Ketawalamulla Lane, Colombo 10. A Neurologist and Psychiatrist will conduct the Memory screening test, which can be a helpful first step for families if they are seeing signs of memory problems in their loved ones.

The screening is relatively simple, accessible and requires a short commitment of time.

It may help persons with memory problems and their partners learn more about mild cognitive impairment and dementia and can be a first step toward early diagnosis.

Appointments are limited to a maximum of forty. Call Angelene Jeyarajah or João Marçal-Grilo on 2667082 or 2667084 for more information.
