Kurunegala MC to get tough with polluters

The Kurunegala Municipal Council has taken measures against persons who stick posters, banners, and notices on walls in public places and maring the urban surroundings.

Anuradha Gamini Permune, said legal action would be taken against persons who pollute the town by sticking posters, notices and banners.

Steps are being taken to remove all the notices already pasted on walls in public places. “All residents of Kurunegala town should extend their co-operation to make this effort a success.
