Ananda trounce De Mazenod

Good batting performances by Rahal Avishka and Tamara Weerasooriya, supported by impressive allround performance by Avisha Wilwalaarachchi powered Ananda College to a 134 run victory over De Mazenod College in their under-15 division one match played at Ananda Mawatha.Rahal Avishka (41), Avisha Wilwalaarachchi (36) and Tamara Weerasooriya (38) were the chief scorers for the Anandians while D Tharuka bagged 4 for 40 on behalf of the visitors.

In reply to a good total of 243, put up by the Anandians, the visitors were helpless and were bowled out for 109.

Avisha Wilwalaarachchi took 2 for 10 while S Sahan bagged 2 for 12.
