Over 100 exhibitors from home and abroad including Taiwan, China,
India, Korea and Italy have already confirmed their participation for
the exhibition and will showcase current advancements in machines,
materials, auxiliaries together with live demonstration of machines.
Organized by Enterprising Fairs India Pvt Ltd and co-organized by the
Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka , "Sri Lanka Plast" will have
a special theme pavilion set up by Central Environmental Authority on
plastic recycling . The pavilion will showcase latest technologies
available for plastic recycling and create awareness on how plastics can
be recycled and the need to segregate the plastic refuse at home. In
parallel to "Sri Lanka Plast" a seminar on "Opportunities and
Advancements in Plastics Processing which will focus on new
technologies, advancements and opportunities in the sector will be held
at Galadari hotel on August 11.
Enterprising Fairs (India) Pvt Ltd President B Swaminathan stated
that plastics processing industry is one of the few industries where
anyone can become a entrepreneur with different levels of investment
from small and affordable to large investment and the industry can be
the backbone of small and medium enterprises and can create new
employment opportunities across the country.
