Kurunegala youth club in massive win

Kurunegala Youth Club beat Lankan Cricket Club by 104 runs on first innings in their inter club under 23 division two tournament cricket match organized by Sri Lanka cricket and worked off at Welagedara Stadium.

Electing to bat Lankans were all out for 230 with Sampath Mahesh making the top score of 71 runs and in reply Kurunegala youth club totalled 334 with A. Bandara unbeaten on 59 and in their second essay at the close Lankans were 130 for 4 with Sampath Mahesh notching up his second half century with a fluent unbeaten 51 runs.
