Dineshkanthan, Rajeev doubles champions

Seasoned campeigners Thangarajah Dineshkanthan and Rajeev Rajapakse emerged mens doubles champions when they beat Heera Ashiq partnered by Tanvir Ashiq (6/4,6/3,6/4) in a hard faught Super 'A' grade final of the 97th Colombo Tennis Championships 2012 continued at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts yesterday.

Meanwhile, Shalini de Silva and Amritha Muttiah trounced Nethmi Waduge and Vinuri Wickramaratne (6/1,6/1) to win the Women's doubles championship. Sam Balasingh beat F.F.R.M.Fernando (6/1,7/5) in a Mens over 45 singles third rond match while L.W.C.B.B. Rajaguru received a walk over from Soumen Gangully.
