With Pakistan refusing to be aggressive and
putting the Sri Lankans under pressure giving them a tough chase for
victory, the Lankans are poised to achieve victory some time after
tea tomorrow. On the other hand if the remaining two Pakistani
wickets could give them another 37 runs – 225 to chase for victory
it could be a tough ask for the Lankans if the wicket that has been
playing true suddenly deteriorates.

College, Matale in their schools Under 17 Division one cricket
tournament played at Matale yesterday. Trinity College batting first
were struggling at 100 for 7 at one before a eighth wicket stand of
72 between Charith Sudaraka (54) and Lakshan Jayasinghe (59) helped
them to pass the 200 run mark.
