Moonshine distillery in piggery busted

A large scale illicit distillery in a piggery in Handapangoda was raided by Ingiriya Police following a tip-off. Police found 12 cans of goda buried in the pig sty. Police also seized a gas cylinder, two coils and equipment used to manufacture the hooch.

The kingpin of the moonshine business was arrested. The suspects and goods will be produced before court.
