Explosives found in well

The Police found a haul of weapons and explosives hidden in an abandoned well in the Palai area on July 2.

Kilinochchi police found the weapons while conducting a search operation in the Elukkuwattuwal area of the Palai police division, police media unit reported.

The haul of explosives included 250,016 live T56 bullets,1,993,772 live MPMG bullets,855 live M16 bullets,75,004 live 5.0 anti-aircraft missiles,and much more.

Kilinochchi Police is conducting investigations.
