CGE transfers shareholdings

Ceylon Grain Elevators PLC(CGE) has transferred its shareholdings of 22,831,718 (21.5%) in Ceylon Agro-Industries Limited to Prima Limited of 201, Keppel Roa, Singapore 099419 at Rs 32 per share.

The amount of the transaction and terms of the transaction is Rs 730,614,976 and it is expected to finance the working capital requirement of Ceylon Grain Elevators Plc by entering into this transaction.
