St. Sylvester's College, Kandy scored an easy 119 run win over Sri Rahula College, Katugastota, in their schools Under 17 Division one cricket tournament match played at the open Prison Camp grounds, Pallekele. Sri Rahula College in reply to Sylvestrians total of 207, folded up for 88 after batting for 32 overs.

During St. Sylvesters innings S. Lakshan bowled to capture 5 for 45 which restricted the strong Sylvestrian batting line up.
