Valachchenai Paper Mill increasing production

The Valachchenai Paper Mill will release its products to the market from the next month,Valaichchenai Paper Mill Competent Authority Mangala Senarath said.

"The company has now increased its production up to 145 metric tons per month under the guidance of State Resources and Enterprise Development Minister Dayasritha Tissera and Ministry's Secretary Dr. Willie Gamage, "he added.

Senarath adding that the steps are afoot to increase the production of the mill up to 500 metric tons per month before the end of this year.

The Valaichchenai Paper Mill mainly recycles waste paper from public sector offices and Senarath requests Heads of government institutions to send their waste paper to help it increase production.
