Workshop for journalists

A workshop on Tourism and Economic Development for journalists in both print and electronic media will be held on June 24 from 9 am to 4 pm at Colombo University, Department of Economics.

"Journalists with media identity cards issued by the Government Information Department can participate in the workshop free of charge," said Chief Organizer of the Workshop D.A.C.Suranga Silva.

Prof. Ven. Vijithapure Wimalarathana Thera, Information Department Director General Prof. Ariyaratne Ethugala, Prof.Sarath Kotagama, Prof.Premakumara, Prof.Kamal Waleboda, Prof.Sirimal Abeyratne and experts in Tourism sector will conduct lectures at the workshop.

The workshop is organized by students following Tourism and Hotel Management Diploma and Post Graduate Degree programs of the University of Colombo.
