Lyceum Scrabblers excel
Scrabblers from Lyceum International School, Wattala performed
exceptionally well in the Under-15 category at the Royal Scrabbler 2012.
Migara Jayasinghe (12 years) won the Under-15 title for the third
consecutive year with Hayati Rassool (12 years) becoming the second
Runner-up and Heshan Abeygunasekera winning the Highest Word Score.
Nusrath Sariffodeen and Janidhu Karunaratne were placed in the top 10.

This All-Island tournament was organized by the Royal College
Scrabble Club and was held recently at Royal College, Colombo 07. A
total of 102 scrabblers from various schools competed in the Under-15
category. |
