Sumana Balika MV to enroll promising athletes

The interviews to enroll new students to Sumana Balika Sports School will be held on June 14 at Mudduwa grounds, Ratnapura from 8.30 am onwards.

The popular girls' sports school which won the all island girls' athletics championship in two consecutive years and also won the schools' women's cricket championship, will enroll students for grade 8 and 9. The applications close on June 12. A large number of students have already applied while 22 sports enthusiastic students will get the opportunity to enter grade 8. There are a few places vacant for grade 9 as well. The interviews will be held according to Educational Ministry rules and regulations. Interested parties should forward their applications to The Principal, R/ Sumana Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Ratnapura before June 12.
