Exemptions for ACCA members for Australian MBA

Members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), will be exempted from four subjects when they follow the Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious University of Southern Queensland (USQ), now offered by the Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).

With these four exemptions, students can now sit for only eight subjects instead of the required 12 subjects while studying for the MBA which has been recognized as one of Australia's top 20 programmes and complete the course within a period of one year to one-and-a-half years.

With these exemptions, students will also have the opportunity of saving approximately Rs. 350,000/-, due to the reduced number of subjects they have to undertake to complete the MBA.

USQ is an international university of repute in distance learning and was the first accredited institution of best practice for external higher education in Australia.

CA Sri Lanka President Sujeewa Rajapaksa said that since its inception the Institute has taken every effort to provide accounting professionals with the best of qualifications, both recognized locally as well as globally.

It is our aim to groom well qualified professionals, CA Sri Lanka has gone beyond providing qualifications related to accounting.
