Animal husbandry as income earner under Divi Neguma

The Economic Development Ministry has drawn up plans to develop animal husbandry countrywide under the third phase of the Divi Neguma programme as a major income earner, the Economic Development Ministry

will establish 10,000 cattle sheds countrywide during this year, Economic Development Ministry Additional Secretary. “The Economic Development Ministry will also introduce bee keeping as another income generating avenue.

The Economic Development Ministry will provide 10,000 bee boxes to farmers countrywide under this programme,” he said. “The ministry also plans to establish 7,000 net houses for nurseries countrywide,” he said.
