A locally made galkatas was seized by Ingiriya Police in Kadanapitiya,
Elapatagama area on Monday evening. Police also arrested a suspect aged
38 believed to be the owner of the weapon found hidden in a forest
behind his house.
It is believed that the weapon had been manufactured for hunting
animals.
Investigations are continuing. |
