Road project commences

The first phase of the Ibbagamuwa- Madagalla road development project commenced on May 21. This road in the Kurunegala District runs between the electorates of Hiriyala and Yapahuwa.

Indigenous Medicine Minister Salinda Dissanayaka said the government had allocated Rs 2861 million for the construction programme of the Ibbagamuwa- Madagalla road.The length of the road is 35 km. The government has planned to add this road to the national road system after it’s carpeting.
