Suddek Oba Amathai at Lionel Wendt

One of the most critically-acclaimed and popular Sinhala dramas in recent times, “Suddek Oba Amathai” will go on stage on May 27 at Lionel Wendt Theatre at 3.30 p.m and 7 p.m.

The play is written and directed by Udayasiri Wickramaratne, and features stellar performances by some of our most well-known and much-loved actors and actresses.

The cast includes Jayalath Manoratne, Nalin Pradeep Udawela, Madani Malwattage and others. The score is composed by Lalith Wickramaratne.

Rohan Samaradiwakara is the man behind the set, while Ranga Samarakoon handles lighting. Susil Wickramasinghe is the production manager. “Suddek Oba Amathai” has also won the Award for Best Script and Best Music at the National Drama Festival.
