Kumari through SMS voting at the Rupavahini Jathika Avurudu Udanaya 2012
Avurudu Kumari contest visited the Airtel Brand Shop in Kollupitiya
recently. During the competition individual contests were held at a
provincial level and the top three winners were eligible to take part in
the final contest.
She was one of three finalists that qualified from the Southern
Province. Seen in the picture is Charith De Chickera, Head - Brands and
Communication, Bharti Airtel Lanka handing over a gift of a mobile phone
to her. Bharti Airtel Lanka commenced commercial operations of services
in Sri Lanka on January 12, 2009, and was the fastest operator to reach
1 million customers in Sri Lanka.
