Three PCs killed in road tragedy

Three police constables riding a motorcycle were killed on the spot when the motorcycle crashed into a stationary truck. The victims were identified as Dinesh Priyantha Seneviratne, 23, K L H B Dinesh, 24, and K D Gayan Asanka, 22. To page 13

They were attached to Pannala Police.

Seneviratne was riding the motorcycle and the other two were pillion riders.

The motorcycle collided with the truck opposite the Pannala Roman Catholic Church. Kuliyapitiya DMO Dr Gamini Dissnayake conducted the autopsy.
