Welfare shop for city flat dwellers
Flat dwellers in the city and the suburbs and employees attached to
the National Housing Development Authority and the Condominium
Management Authority can buy locally produced essential food and other
items at concessionary prices from a welfare shop opened at the
Condominium Authority premises on May 17.
The new welfare shop is a concept of Construction Engineering
Services Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.
The welfare shop is jointly operated by the Mawbima Lanka Foundation
and the Condominium Authority Welfare Society. DSI Group Managing
Director Kulatunga Rajapaksa and Pelwatte Milk Company Managing Director
Ariyasheela Wickramanayake opened the welfare shop, making the first
purchase. |
