Iran welcomes Indian resolve for ties
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili
has welcomed India's determination to expand relations with the Islamic
Republic.
He made the comment in a meeting with India's Deputy National
Security Advisor Latha Reddy on Wednesday in Tehran.
The Iranian official said Tehran has a unique position in securing
the world's energy supplies.
Jalili emphasized that the two countries should strengthen ties in
the face of the common threats such as terrorism, piracy, and drug
smuggling.
The Indian envoy also reiterated New Delhi's willingness for more
cooperation with Iran, especially in the field of energy. Press TV |
