St. Bridget's Convent Cancer Walk 2012 and Interactors Fair

The Interact Club of St. Bridget's Convent, is organising Cancer Walk 2012 and Fair on May 12. The walk will start at the school main gate at 8.30 a.m. and the fair will be at the CH & FC Grounds.

Many special invitees such as Justice Shiranee Tilakawardane, the Sri Lanka Cancer Society President, the Colombo Mayor Muzzamil and the British High Commissioner John Rankin, Rotarians, Interactors, sports bodies, other schools and well wishers will support this worthy cause by joining the walk.

The public are welcome to support the Interactors by walking with them. The walk is free but the club will gladly accept any donations from the participants.

The Colombo mayor will be the Chief Guest at the Fair.

Musical bands such as the Sherifs, Battery Band, Black Willy Jeep etc will be performing.

There will also be entertainment for children such as merry-go-rounds, bouncy castle and pony rides. The organisers state that it will be a great day and a wonderful way to support the Interactors who will donate all the proceedings to the Maharagama Cancer Hospital.
