Urban Kitchen is a concept unique to Sri Lanka which caters to the
needs of varying clientele under one roof with highest quality for
reasonable prices, said Urban Kitchen Head Chef /partner Jerome La Brooy
at a press conference held at the restaurant premises in Hyde Park
Corner yesterday. Urban Kitchen opened two years ago with a total
refurbishment and investment of US $ 500,000, said La Brooy. "Our
consistency to food, excellent menu, value for money and our motive to
make customers happy had paid dividends and today Urban Kitchen has been
converted into a premier restaurant in Colombo," he added.
Rapidly gaining popularity since it first opened its doors two years
ago, the Urban Kitchen has drawn a varying clientele including corporate
workers, young people and families.
