Raincoat leads to man's death

A man died after he was stabbed with a broken bottle during a brawl in Mount Lavinia on Sunday evening.

Police said the victim identified as Dharshana Keerthi Kumara, 40, from Kekunadura, Matara was employed in Mount Lavinia.

The victim died on admission to Kalubowila Hospital.

According to Police, the suspect had stolen a raincoat belonging to the victim. An argument between the suspect and the victim led to the latter being stabbed with the broken bottle.
