Attaab excels

Seven years old Attaab Manzil of Trinity College Kandy won another under-eight title at the All-Island Intermediate Championship held at the S. Thomas’ Indoor Stadium over the week end.

Attaab won the all island individual under-eight title about a month ago. His victory came after some brilliant performances, hitting some perfect strokes despite his tender age and showed that he is sure to be a player to be reckoned with in the near future.

Attaab is currently Number one in his under-eight age category. He beat Anul Hulangamuwa of S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia 11/5,11/9 to bag the title.
