Union Bank has appointed Alexis Indrajit Lovell as its new Chairman
with effect from May 01, 2012.
Ajita De Zoyza , who was holding the position retired with effect
from April 30, 2012, as per Corporate Governance Direction No 11 of 2007
issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Prior to becoming Chairman, Alexis Indrajit Lovell functioned as the
Deputy Chairman of the Union Bank.
