Thurstan out to continue winning streak

Thurstan College Rugby team put up a splendid performance in their season opener last week beating the debutants in division B segment, Lumbini College 17 points to 5 after the match was called off due to bad weather at the half time by the match officials.

Thurstan dominated throughout the first half under difficult ground conditions managed to find the right rhythm to live up to the expectations to earn them the much needed points with the win. In their second league match, Thurstan ruggeites will confront C.W.W.Kannangara MV today at Air Force grounds Ratmalana at 3.30pm.
