Govt to launch NCP canal project

The government is preparing initial plans for the realization of the North Central Canal Development Project under the Mahaweli development scheme said Irrigation and Water Resources Management Ministry Advisor Engineer P W C Dayaratne.

Dayaratne was addressing the Anuradhapura District Agriculture Committee at Anuradhapura Kachcheri recently.

He is attached to the Mahaweli Consultation Bureau and the team leader of the plan preparation team of the proposed North Central Canal Project.
