SLIM launches new website
The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), launched its website
giving a more fresher and engaging outlook to the online presence of the
national body of marketing. The launch ceremony was held with the
participation of Thushara Perera, Immediate Past President - SLIM,
Dhanesh R. Jayathilaka - Assistant Secretary - SLIM and Sanath
Senanayake - Chief Executive Office / Executive Director - SLIM at Eight
Degrees Floating Restaurant - Cinnamon Lakeside.
The new website accessible through www.slim.lk offers a more
interactive and comprehensive outlook engaging students, marketing
professionals and executives to an array of knowledge in the field of
marketing.
The web site was developed by Fortunaglobal (Pvt) Ltd. the strategic
web partner of SLIM. The website contains four main categories
including, Study with SLIM, SLIM Professional, Events and Training.
Thushara Perera - Immediate Past President SLIM (Emeritus) commenting
about the new web site launch said, "SLIM as the national marketing
body, will continue to build its online presence with the growing market
trend, a global phenomenon in the marketing sphere.
This web site would not only benefit the students, but also the
corporate as a fountain of knowledge and news in the marketing
industry".
The new website not only provides access to knowledge through reading
material, case studies and important updates in the marketing landscape
locally as well as globally.
A sign up section allows members and users to subscribe to the SLIM
newsletters plus a separate section allows users to purchase SLIM
merchandise through an online shopping cart.
