Pakistan National Defence University delegation visits Eastern Naval Command

The Pakistan National Defence University delegation called on Eastern Naval Area Commander Rear Admiral J S K Colombage at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters, Trincomalee recently.

Pakistan Defence Adviser in Sri Lanka Colonel Sheharyar Parvez Butt was also present.

The Eastern Naval Area Commander briefed the delegation on the current situation in the area and port facilities available at the Trincomalee Harbour.

He also briefed the history of the Trincomalee Harbour and its political, economical and security importance.

The Commander thanked the delegation for the Pakistan government's assistance to Sri Lanka during the conflict.
